JNP 12
The originality of the JNP 12 classic high-performance hull lies in its appendages. The 2.5-ton keel is partially retractable. With a 2.8-meter draft when fully down, this keel offers a righting moment and a large anti-drifting surface, both of wich guarantee excellent performance on the wind. This is a particularly important feature for cruising.
The JNP 12's beaching system is also ideal for road transport. By securing it on a simple truck bed, and at a reasonable cost, the boat can be taken from one place to another for sailing purposes as its width does not require escorted transport.
When running and reaching, the JNP 12 is stable and efficient : with its relatively wide stern, long waterline and two rudder blades, the boat is designed to remain perfectly controllable and to ensure excellent averages with attractive weight/power ratios - 6.7-ton displacement for 93 m2 of sail.
