The Magnum 50’ is a narrow beam, deep-vee, very heavy hull, generally equipped with twin Caterpillar or MTU/Detroit diesels of 1400 HP each coupled to Arneson surface drives. The top speed is appx. 72 MPH. Very impressive is her unbelievable seaworthiness in all weather conditions. She slices through the waves and can safely and comfortably make long crossings in rough seas, whilst large yachts remain in port.
