Nordströms bucket elevators operate with closely spaced buckets attached to an endless belt with gravity discharge. The bulk material is fed into the buckets by scooping or digging actions.The moving buckets are totally enclosed in the steel casing.
The elevator head includes the belt pulley and a discharge chute for the conveyed material. The elevator boot includes a belt pulley, a tensioning device and a bulk material inlet designed for optimum bucket filling.
The rigid and heavy duty construction reduces wear and enables easy maintenance at infrequent intervals.
The capacities range from 100 to 1000 m3/h.
