Classic boat : open boat
L20
Lorinthe
- 6.35m
20' 10"ft
The L20 daycruiser show many similarities with its sailing sibling. It also benefits from the large cockpit and spacious sundeck. Unlike the L20 daysailor however, it has no mast or sails and fully relies on the engine to bring you where you would like to go.
Unlike many other motor boats, the L20 has a completely new designed, modern hull. This ensures not only an excellent speed and good stability but very efficient fuel consumption as well.
The main features:
Safety
With the closed compartments below deck, the L20 is virtually unsinkable. Unlike other boats, the L20 has no small holes to drain water, but redefines the word "self-bailing": the flat bottomed cockpit with open transom will loose water faster than it will enter. This makes the L20 suitable for open water, there where other open boats won't dare to go.
Maintenance
A flat open deck and cockpit with no obstacles makes the L20 really easy to clean.
Silent engine
The outboard engine is hidden under a lid, so that it's silent and out of sight. It even fits a bigger engine, so with minimal adjustment, the L20 can even be used as a fast "tender". The boat has an excellent rudder and hull shape that allows for good manoeuvring, even backwards.
