Exhaust silencer for yachts and ships

AGSD exhaust silencers reduce noise by making use of the absorption principle. The exhaust fumes are being led through a cylindrical channel, which is cladded with sound absorbing material of strong thermal resistance. Due to the straight layout of the channel, and by selection of special materials, pressures losses however are minimized.
Maximum allowed exhaust flow speeds within the silencer should not exceed 20 to 40 m/s.
The silencer housing consists of steel plates, flate heads, pipe connections with flanges, gasked and counterflange, screws, nuts and washers. At the lowest point, a condensate drain has been provided.
Mounting orientation can be chosen freely from horizontal to vertical position. In any case the condensate drain should be located at the lowest point of the silencers.
Larger dimensions, and stronger reduction values are available upon request, as well as further layouts with regard to silencer dimensions, exhaust inlet and outlet locations etc. Stainless steel can be used as silencer material, just as well.
