The dinghy a boat was revealed much refined technique and came chosen for the Olympic Games in 1920 and 1928; own the experience of the engaged Italian velisti in introduced it to the Olympic Games in our country, in 1929.
For forty years the boat was only leant to the initiatives of the circles and the federation, till 1969, when Dinghy Class came founded the Italian Association: from then the increment of the shipowners and the regatanti it has been continuous, thus like its evolution.
In origin it was constructed entire in wood to overlapping plating; now to the traditional boats those partially or totally in VTR are placed side by side also.
To contraddistinguere this small drift of 12 feet it is the Marconi crew.
No class has had in Italy a greater number of disputed national championships and is least those which can boast thus a great adhesion.
