The Lightwave 45' Sailing Cat is a bluewater cruiser designed to negotiate long distances with minimal effort.
This awesome sleek sailing cat is proving its global going capabilities with one currently participating in an Around the World Rally. In late 2008, this cat WON the Multihull Division of the Arc Atlantic Rally, the largest transocean sailing event in the World.
The sleek hulls provide extensive storage and tankage areas, generous bridgedeck clearance, and the power to accommodate the large rig and engines. The deck layout and sail systems are configured for ease of handling when shorthanded.
The accommodation includes a master cabin with island style bed and walk in robe, guest cabin with ensuite and a third double cabin. The aft deck and cockpit area provides sheltered outdoor dining and lounging areas, and features the Lightwave signature Raised Helm Station. Broad transoms, a duckboard with lifting crane, and large external engine rooms, enhance this area.
