The LSA Cormorant Lift Bag (CLB) is a unique design effort between Liferaft Systems Australia and the Royal Australian Navy, and has the capability to lift a 1,000kg object from a depth of between 5 and 90 metres. Acoustically operated from up to one kilometre away, the CLB utilises a gas management system and pressure monitoring to facilitate inflation and relief control at sea level and during towing. The CLB is designed to 'Minmag' standards for the safe and controllable recovery of ordinance.
