imports photos via a scanner or direct from
a high resolution digital camera.
In just a few minutes a sail designer can
digitize the speed stripes of a sail and the
resulting data or shapes are displayed
on the screen ready for analysis.
Max depth, position of, entry angle, twist,
fore and at depths are all displayed or a
hard copy can be printed. The data can
be compared with those parameters
which result in a fast sail, as part of the
analysis the designer can also zoom into the
various areas of the sail and do a visual
inspection.
