Lewmar has developed a new range of vertical windlass to complement the current V-range. As one of the largest divisions of Lewmar, we are constantly reviewing our windlass range in collaboration with boat designers, boat builders and owner's associations to ensure that our products remain at the forefront of development. In response, Lewmar has developed the new CPX range.
Customer focused design
Following discussions with key customers, Lewmar identified the need for a high-quality product that is lighter than the all stainless steel deck unit and that beautifully fits contemporary sail and powerboat design.
Subsequently, the CPX deck unit features an alloy base. With an emphasis on reliability, we have reviewed the architecture of the windlass and reduced the number of parts without compromising on performance. This also makes the windlass easier to service. At Lewmar, we strive to keep up to date with new
developments in the motor/gearbox industry, constantly testing new products coming to market, and the CPX Windlass is no exception. The result is a highly reliable, light weight, high performance windlass.
