She is an up-to-date design with efficient hull shape, minimum windage and a very attractive bio-design styling.
Her wide beam provides the power to carry a powerful rig while her freeboard gives a safe motion through the waves.
Low aspect keels provide trouble-free grounding.

Rackham Basic has an efficient high aspect ratio rig with an aluminium rotating mast. With only 3 sails and without the need for exotic materials, she will be extremely competitive under the MULTI 2000 rule.

Her rigid cockpit has a moulding for the outboard engine.
A tent to increase her comfort is optional.

She has 4 good berths, a galley, chemical toilets and adequate sitting headroom for overnight cruises.
