Retort the Thirties, Tofinou is a centre-board ballasted of 7m at the weak free-board, sumptuously equipped with teak and varnished mahogany tree. It allures by the beauty and the harmony of these expensive lines at its time.
Tofinou, drawn by the Captain Blackbird in 1929, was built in exem- to like single by a Building site St Martin de Ré.
Its owner having lived in Dahomey gave him in remembering the name ?Tofinou?, which means ?Sailors? in African dialect.
Recovered many years after with the state of wreck, it was in a pre mier restored time. Then Philippe Joubert, fallen under the charm from his lines, decided into 1989 to make a series of it.
