12-strand braided line of UHMWPE / Dyneema® yarns. Pre-stretched for low elogation, extremely strong, is used as a winchrope or a rope drive in many technical applications. Q1 is a 12-strand braided rope from UHMWPE (high-grade polyethylene) also called Dyneema® with a PU coating. This type of line is often used as an alternative to steel wire. Thanks to our pre-stretch and coating installation, the elongation is significantly reduced. The breaking strength is increased compared to other alternatives in the market. Applications of this line are legion of, winch rope, pull ropes, line for sled dogs, substation line to attract gliders. This line is also available in black. That is used in applications where the rope may not be visible, such as theatres and studios. The Q1 Dyneema UHMWPE rope can also be covered with a polyester cover to make it more abrasion and UV resistant. This is our Blizzard line.
