Prop-eye
Is an extremely silent and powertul high-performance propeller with internal ring motor for short and continuous operation.
Thus it is usable as a drive unit or as bow- and stern thrusters.

Skippers know the situation:
Out of consideration for nature and for smaller boats there are usually speed limitations on fairways, rivers, channels or inland waters. Here the use of the main engine is not economic and it is designed for much higher speeds. Additionally there’s the noise that one feels disturbing.

With Prop-eye you can switch off the main engine and cruise almost silently by using the much more quiet and energy saving generator as the main energy source.

The Prop-eye 170 is powered by alternating current (ac). When using the battery the provided potential transformer changes the co-current flow (dc) into alternating current (ac). Naturally it can also be driven without potential transformer driven directly by a generator.

So the Prop-eye 170 with its 40 kp thrust is an ideal combination as bow and stern thrusters under usage of the battery or a generator, or as an auxiliary drive under usage of a generator.
