Kahlenberg manufactures several signal controllers such as model M-611 to automate signaling in restricted visibility for improved safety at sea. In the case of the M-611, both light and sound signals can be automated for restricted visibility (USCG Rule 35). Maneuvering codes (USCG Rule 34), and SOLAS General Alarm Code are also included.

The Model M-611 adds functionality for control of multiple horn systems, bell and gong control, as well as integration with sound surveillance and external alarm systems on larger vessels.
