KM (Plain, TVE, and ENC Variations): For vessels greater than 75 meters in length, Model KM Horns are designed with a horizontal diaphragm head so that moisture naturally drains away from the diaphragm seat. KM-TVE units contain enclosed heated air combination valves to protect the unit from freezing and condensation. With KM-ENC units, the combination manual/solenoid valve and horn sounding body are enclosed in a thermostatically controlled, heated enclosure for absolute protection in extreme arctic conditions.
Model KM Horns are available in frequencies from 85Hz to 250Hz in all of the valve/heater variations shown below for both A.C. and D.C. voltages.
