We left the shapes of the Speed 45 and 54 unchanged as our test team only had the following to say about them: "The current boards are so good that it would be unrealistic to improve those boards again. None of the new prototypes were better overall and we don't see anything available on the market which is even close to them!"

The Speed 50 comes in an all-new shape done by Werner Gnigler.

Jacques van der Hout holds the GPS Nautical Mile World Record, Dutch National WGPSSRC 10 Seconds Record. He was one of the main testers and said the following about the new board:
"No doubt the JP Speed 50 #3 was our favorite board, this is really the benchmark for the years to come and this board can go directly in production.
It also works perfectly with the latest speed fins which are really short but rather wide at the base.
Most boards need to be lifted by a fin, this board doesn't. Just put a small, wide base fin under it and you accelerate quickly, will have good control and unbelievable top end speed. No negative comments on this board, just perfect in all ways. Super loose on the water, early planing, rocket like accelerating, unreal speed and also jibing is surprisingly easy for a speed board. Because of the new Race Deck the comfort is unbeatable and unmatched.
Can I buy Werner's prototype? - I don't want to wait for the first boards coming out of the mold - I need it now."

Unfortunately we could not sell Jacques the final prototype as we need it for reference but the first boards out of the mold will be available soon.
