This unit enables vessels with 12V mains to use products designed for 24V supplies. The Booster is highly efficient and has minimum energy losses. When optimally installed close to the 12V source, cable sizes can be reduced, (compared to a 12V system), with savings in installation costs and weight. For systems with existing 12V wiring, there will be energy savings due to reduced cable losses.
