The JEC Combi is a multiple water-cooled condensing unit for use in the marine environment. It combines all the things you need to install in one neat, self-contained package for a boat in the 45 to 100 foot (14 – 30 m) range where reliable refrigeration, air-conditioning and freezer needs have to be met. It is capable of delivering up to 35,000 btu (10.25kW) of refrigeration power AND includes a high pressure pump capable of delivering 3.5 gpm (13 L/min). to 105 bar (1,500 psi). This pump is ideal for desalination (water maker) and other high pressure saltwater needs.

A single motor drives two heavy-duty compressors and a CAT 271 high pressure water pump. There is provision to handle the needs of an external compressor driven from the main engine or generator set motor. Heat exchange is by tube-in-tube. All connecting unions to the Combi are via a single panel with all fittings in 316 stainless steel, 7/8" and 5/8" JIC.

The motor to drive the unit is determined by the power available on the boat, be it electric or hydraulic. Provision is made for either to be fitted.
