Designed by Jean Berret and Olivier Racoupeau, the JFA 53DS is exceptionally stable and rapid. It exists in a fixed keel version (TE 7'7") or pivoting keel (TE 5'3" to 9'6"). The cockpit concept is original and innovative: circulation among the three zones is well defined: maneuvers, advanced twin helm stations, aft cockpit, were carefully thought through to favor conviviality, pleasure, comfort, security and easy handling. With her teak deck, the quality finishing and the technical equipment and installations, her behavior at sea, her interior design by Patrick Roséo (light teak, and stitched leather liners...), the J.F.A 53 was designed for long voyages, created to satisfy the sailing-sensation enthusiast as well as beautiful anchorage collectors, children and their parents.
