ILPA Adesivi - Levante

This dual component epoxy based stucco, in the LEVANTE range, has been specifically designed for the needs of nautical shipbuilding: it is ideal for reconstructing areas that are damaged or have lesions; it is used together with fibreglass to ensure better resistance and flexibility in the event of ‘bumps’ or ‘knocks’.

This product offers a great compromise between flexibility and rigidity and for this reason is ideal for applying to various different materials such as: aluminium, glass, plastic, wood and others: it can also be used on other surfaces such as: rubbers, ceramics, glass, aluminium, tile, iron and synthetic resins.

Thanks to it being a light weight product it is ideal to be used in situations where a change in the overall weight should be kept to a minimum. It is pliable, made of a fine consistency and is easy to apply. The surface that has been reconstructed with this product, if it has been dried at an ambient temperature (minimum 25 °C), can be sanded and finished flawlessly within 4 or 5 hours after application.
After the product has hardened completely it can be re-painted with both single and dual component paints, water based paints or varnishes.

The product has a high level resistance to chemical attack by acids or liquids with an acidic base, as well as organic solvents.
