The Malango 9.99 project has been prepared during two years by idbmarine to answer to requests from many people wanting a Malango with a rear cabin.... It became a reality with the coming together of the naval architect Julien MARIN, designer of famous Class 40, with the architect of Quimper Jacques SEIGNEZ who put his talents at the service of this new sailboat. Julien MARIN proposed a powerfull hull, able to provide a high level of performance in a very secure boat, Jacques SEIGNEZ imagined comfortable and functional accommodation, and Denis BOURBIGOT validated the solution to propose a clever and fast cruiser.
