It’s too easy for a sailmaker to get complacent about cruising
sails. After all, cruising sailors don’t demand the millimetre
perfect seam stitching of their racing brethren do they? If it’s an
old design, the shape’s not quite right, the cloth’s a bit iffy, well...
no one’s going to notice, are they?
