Category four plate drive cradle lifts come in either 4, 6, or 8-pole configurations, depending on the weight of the lift needed. The gear that we use is the "bulletproof" flat plate drive unit that comes with a 25-year warranty. It may be slightly more noticeable than a gear drive but you can rest assured it will not fail. The use of a larger gear guarantees you ten years of trouble free performance. Beware of the copmpetition that uses a smaller gear drive units, as they may not hold up after 3-4 years of use.
All category four lifts feature the finest marine grade aluminum, grooved aluminum winders, which come pre-wound for time-saving installation, and also ensures no overlapping ot tangling.
