We are pleased to announce that after 3 years of testing
many design versions, construction options as well as
developing a fail-safe manufacturing process Hot Sails
Maui is ready to launch our SuperModel boom.
The SuperModel boom, which Jeffrey designed in 2002,
is extremely narrow in the front end. This shape has
some very interesting characteristics that some sailors will
find to be exactly what they have been missing.
The SuperModel boom is bomber strong and has 4 years
of development testing under its belt. In the
manufacturing process each boom is pull tested to 200kg
before gripping! Wth the boom end at its shortest, that
makes the boom flex out 5cm wider from its normal
position!!! It is scary to watch, and amazing at the same
