This one-piece aluminum boom is tremendously stiff and
corrosion resistant with no holes drilled anywhere near
the head of the boom.
The front 15% of the alloy boom is double-layered for
added strength. The end result is a boom with the
stiffness of a conventional Carbon boom but with the
price tag of an Alloy boom.
Every detail on the Playmate Alloy boom has been tested
in the most demanding sailing conditions for over 2
years. This boom is built to handle anything that nature
throws our way.
