For homes by and on water, a floating terrace provides a substantial extension to the living area. In the summer the terrace can be used as accommodation and for mooring your boat and in the winter it can serve as a boat raft to store your boat, canoe, surfboard etc. on. Havenhout Zaanstad’s floating terraces are made of hardwood with long durability. They are therefore very long-lasting and can withstand the forces of ice etc.
These structures sit about 25 cm above the water level, they float with stability and they do not have to be specially anchored in normal waters.
These terraces may be moored like a craft.
We make terraces in standard widths of 190 cm, 250 cm, 310 cm and 375 cm.
We can make the length precisely to the centimetre between 4 metres and 7 metres and you can link them to any desired length.
Customised measurements can also be agreed.
