The rudder is moulded GRP with a stainless steel stock, the base of which locates onto the bottom rudder skeg. The heel fitting is a cast bronze item. The rudder post is machined to accept cable steering fittings as standard (hydraulic steering available as an option) and a custom emergency tiller is provided.
