CyScan is a laser position reference sensor. The laser scanner is connected to the vessel's DP system by an industry standard data interface and operated by a bridge console running on a marine grade PC. CyScan is a well established laser system which gives high precision range and bearing (with heading if required) measurements under most environmental conditions. Ranges up to 2500m can be achieved with the use of prism targets.
