The G2000 Ambient Oil Mist Detector is used to monitor pump rooms, engine rooms, and other facilities. It is a line-of-sight opacity meter that sends a beam of light across the section that is to be monitored. If the beam along the line-of-sight passes through oil mist, smoke, or dust, the light beam is scattered and absorbed and the receiver signal is reduced.
