The hull and deck are built in a sandwich of closed cell foam and vinylester resin in the first layers. Further reinforcements are positioned in high stress areas. An internal grid of galvanised steel is glued with acrylic glue and bonded to the hull. This grid absorbs the load of the keel mast and shrouds.
In addition to her open transom and large stern locker, the GS43 OT features double steering wheels (with the mainsheet track deck mounted to improve control), retractable helmsman's foot chocks and a genoa furling unit which is neatly tucked away under the deck.
The GS43 OT benefits form three cabins as standard and a Volvo 40hp engine.
