HAPPY CAT RACING

As from 2009 the HAPY CAT LIGHT will have a hot-blooded sister - the HAPPY CAT RACING.

The introduction of this new model meets the often expressed call for even more performance, yet at unchanged weight- packing- and assembly specification and undiminished handling properties.

20 % larger sail area and hyper modern sail design ensure once again much greater performance.

Floats, trampoline and steering are the same as those of the HAPPY CAT LIGHT.

The entire rigging though is reinforced and taller, to cover additional functions, such as the extra force of energy generated by the increased sail area.

This is met by 4 shrouds, a separate forestay (allowing easy dropping of the foresail), a longer bowsprit, and a bow to bow cross boom as standard.

The downward sloping foot of the mainsail and the variable height setting of that sail suits the crews headroom requirements.

2 + 1 clear view screens provide excellent forward vision. A new type slab-reefing enables instant reefing of the mainsail, by pulling just one of only line.
