The 2008 Goya FXR is shorter and wider than our wave sail. The shape of this sail Is deeper and designed for speed, with a clear focus on early planing and high end control, catering Freehde and Freerace saling. It works perfect with a bigger board givingyou uncompromising performance without cambers.
The first thing you will notice about this sal is just how light it Is and how easy it rides. The feeling of this sail is very centered and stable, so that you can focus on having fun, which is really the essence of why we do this sport This sail brings enough performance and user-friendliness to the table to keep you interested for years to come.
We are using tube battens to ensure stability and lightness for the sail. Also, we have decided to go with a cross batten this year, meaning the second batten Irom the bottom will cross your boom. By doing so we bring stability to the sail, and keep the gaps between battens even.
The FXR is constructed entirety with ful panels of X- Ply. giving you that famous Goya flex performance and long time proven durability.
The sail also features a new thermoform foot protector with nylon covering, making it more resistant to the antisip coating of your board.
Our battens are CNC produced and controlled, ensuring the perfect match of their shape with their position in the sail.
We also kept the Graphics to a minimum because we belive in blending in with the environment and in "less but better".
