Marine headlining material GISATEX® Amaree Ledro is an elegant and robust wall lining material for your boat interior. Its pleasantly soft, breathable micro-fibre surface makes it particularly suitable for use in cabins or sitting areas Qualities We achieve the outstanding insulation performance of this material by laminating a 100% PES (polyether sulphone) outer layer with a special thermal fleece padding and charmeuse (artificial silk) backing layer. The foam padding and the breathable top layer effectively minimize condensation and at the same time maximize thermal insulation. The application of a barrier layer of charmeuse prevents adhesives reaching the outer layers. Together with the insulation fleece layer, this makes for the best possible insulation against heat, cold and noise. Instructions for use GISATEX® Amaree Ledro wall covering is first roughly cut to fit the space. The wall alone is coated with an emulsion adhesive. We recommend the use of our type 1805 adhesive with a lambskin roller. The fabric strips can then be directly applied to the layer of adhesive and smoothed out carefully. The high elasticity of the Amaree Ledro permits it to be used on sharply curved or uneven surfaces.
