A 3-D model of the exterior surfaces including the superstructure provided the owner with the geometry for model testing the hull at the Davidson Laboratory, Stevens Institution. The results from the model test for EHP were within two percent of the prediction method that was used (Michlet) and wave amplitudes at high speed were below the comparative average.
