Compared to conventional reflectors where some of the bulbfs light is lost, requiring more power output to make up for the loss, the FIX Light HD20DX has an originally developed aluminum reflector which minimizes light loss for brighter performance. Also, because less power is consumed, batteries last longer. The special bulb has a dome shaped front which projects a uniform smooth light.
