CarboClyde is primarily designed to operate as a service and supply vessel in the vicinity of offshore based wind parks. The forward half of the main deck is dedicated to cargo transportation and boarding personnel. Cargo can be transported on the large sheltered cargo deck. A large crane forward of the
cargo area makes the CarboClyde partly independent of external lifting facilities.
The forecastle deck is hosting a docking system for safe transfer of service personnel between the vessel and an offshore structure.
The main central passenger cabin is entered from the cargo deck through a separate entrance lobby which also houses the passenger toilets. The spacious saloon includes comfortable seating for up to 24 passengers, a pantry and storage facilities. Aft of the saloon are two crew cabins, each with double bunks and toilet compartments with shower. Further aft is a door with access
to the aft deck.
The wheelhouse is accessed by a staircase aft of the saloon and with its 360-degrees visibility, all activities on and surrounding the vessel can be observed. The wheelhouse can also be accessed directly from the upper deck.
