This saw solves the problem that has plagued all jigsaws before it – blade swayout. Three-way blade guidance keeps the blade perpendicular, even in curves, even in tough laminates. A splinter guard keeps the cut edge from splintering and chipping. The result is a perpendicular cut with a clean edge that follows the scribe line. In most cases this eliminates the need for a heavy bandsaw.
The Trion has 3-way blade guidance - first by the pendulum rod, second by the pendulum guide roller, and third at the cutting point by two carbide plates, the patented CP (Carbide Precision) blade guide. The blade stays at exactly the pre-set angle, for precise cuts of all kinds including bevel or miter cuts, and reduced sway out in tight radius cuts.
