One year ago, the Danish shipyard Faurby Yacht A/S entered into cooperation with the Danish sailing legend, Jesper Bank, a two time Olympic gold medallist, seven time world champion and America's Cup skipper. The cooperation has progressed exceptionally well, as Jesper Bank and Faurby joined forces to develop a brand new performance edition of the Faurby 396 de luxe.

Having a length of 39 feet/11 m, the Faurby 396 is the latest and second largest addition to the family of long, sleek and fast sailing yachts from Faurby.

The Faurby 396 has a roomy and comfortable interior, similar to that of its bigger sister. The use of the new combi-keel has not only given the 396 sailing characteristics that are second to none at a draugth of under seven feet, but has also made visits to smaller harbours possible with a 39 foot long yacht. Thus Niels Peter Faurby has once again created an exceptional long distance cruiser for the large sailing family.
