The "Schnatermann" Pilot Boat
The basic concept for this 15-meter pilot boat was developed in cooperation with professional pilots. The result was the first high-speed seagoing pilot boat of seawater-resistant aluminum. Professionals immediately recognize the deep-V line with its integrated splash rails, Fassmer PU fenders, a rescue platform that can be lowered below the surface of the water and accommodations for five pilots. Heavy-duty shoulder fenders are provided up front to facilitate docking with other vessels. Decks and railings are heated at critical points to keep them free of ice during the winter.
