SCAT 16 Fassmer

- 16m 52' 6"ft This high-speed 16-metre catamaran is unique in the history of German coastal authorities. The concept is based upon a research project carried out by the German Ministry for Research and Technology in which Fassmer was also closely involved. All flat components like bridge, ventilator housings etc. were made of seawater-resistant aluminium, and all curved elements, such as the hulls, of FRP. The catamaran is built according to a modular concept that can be used for vessels of different lengths.
