The SEL-RT 8.5 is built in a beautiful and exclusive double shell design. It never loses its buoyancy, not even in the unlikely case of complete flooding. For its main purpose as a partially enclosed lifeboat it is able to carry up to 40 persons and in case of emergency a three person-crew can rescue up to 6 persons very fast. As a yacht tender up to 20 persons enter the comfortable watertight passenger seating area through a large door. The boat is equipped with intelligent hoisting hooks which open on their own when the tender reaches the water. The SEL-RT 8.5 is according to SOLAS standards.
