This unique oil boom system is designed for immediate, reliable operation. It is stored permanently in position on the sea bed and is operated in seconds by the push of a button - activated by telephone or by remote control.

The Submersible Oil Boom is perfect for terminals, refineries, harbors, and other defined problem areas. It is operated by one person only. The Submersible Oil Boom is automatically raised to its correct operational position by using the process air at the terminal, or by compressor, and using the air to displace the water in the polyethylene pipes in the boom. When there is no further need for the boom it is automatically lowered by switching off the air thus allowing the water to re-flood the pipes.

When not in use, the boom is permanently anchored and stored on the seabed, which means low maintenance costs, high durability, low vulnerability and long life.
