This is a rapid deployment inflatable oil boom. The boom is robust, with individual floatation chambers and is inflated continuously from the towing equipment connected to the first boom section. Each section comprises four individual air chambers and each chamber is connected to the common rail air filling system through a check valve. Check valves allow air into chambers but not out. Each chamber has in addition a high capacity valve mounted for deflation when recovering the boom. In unlikely event that the single point inflation system fails, this air valve offers a back up inflation solution similar to that of ordinary air-inflated oil booms.

The boom is available in sizes from 1 m to 2.2 m in total height for environment ranging from protected waters to open sea.

The main features of this boom are: rapid deployment, safe operation, minimum need for personnel, very good wave response, low storage volume, simple maintenance, easy to repair and to clean.
