Description

The Esse 750 was designed as a two-man racer, although the boat’s construction, technical features and perfect handling also make it great fun to sail single-handedly in all conditions.

As with other boats constructed by Esseboats, Josef Schuchter once again entrusted the development to the Italian designer Umberto Felci. This ensured the continuation of the successful design concept of the Esse 850 and the Esse 990. The boat’s hull and deck are carbon composite sandwich, constructed using the infusion process. The mast is also made of carbon. The modern sail plan includes a self-tacking jib, a square top mainsail and gennaker.

The gennaker is set through a launching tube. As neither a backstay nor runners are used and the gennaker is dropped using a dropline, single-handed sailing is no problem in all conditions.
