a top grade resin is infused into a fiberglass and foam sandwich under
tremendous amounts of pressure - almost 10,000 pounds. This creates a hull
that is many times stronger than a traditional hand laid boat and one that is
dramatically lighter. In fact, the weight of the Epic 23v with the Mercruiser
5.7 liter engine is a mere 3,900 pounds. This means a much more nimble
boat in the water and big savings at the pump when towing an Epic. It's so
light you can comfortably tow an Epic 23v with most V6-equipped vehicles.
