STATIC CUTTING

Eastman's Static Cutting Table provides superior cutting performance and increased throughput for cutting composite materials. Capable of marking, cutting, drilling and punching composite materials at speeds of up to 60 inches per second (152.4cm/s); the Eastman cutting system registers accuracy of +/- .015 inches (.4mm), with higher accuracies available.

The Eastman M9000 static cutting table that we purchased is being used to cut Kevlar® fabric. This fabric is cut and sewn into targets used for the ballistic testing in the development of Military body armor. The M9000 has reduced our labor costs and increased our uptime for this development work. This is critical in meeting the needs of the U.S. Military.
