Description

SISUAQ, the second “Tiger Shark-class” vessel constructed for Harvey Gulf International Marine, LLC was completed and delivered in April 2012. The vessel is a DP II SOLAS classed AC diesel-electric powered, twin Z-Drive PSV measuring 292′ x 64′ x 24′-6″. The high tech vessel features four Cummins ASK60-DM 16 cylinder turbocharged Tier II diesel generator engines rated 1825 Kw each at 1,800 RPM, which were provided by Cummins Mid-South. Main propulsion is provided by two Schottel SRP 2020 FP Z-Drives each rated 2,500 Kw at 1,025 RPM for a total of 6,704 H.P. Also provided by Schottel are the two fixed pitch tunnel thrusters rated at 1,180 Kw at 1,170 rpm each. Z-Drives and tunnel thrusters driven by electric motors which are part of the complete electrical system provided by GE Energy Power Conversion.
The vessel is capable of a maximum speed of 14 knots with a cruising speed of 12 knots. Total below deck capacities include 275,000 gallons of fuel, 636,976 gallons of drill water, 19,500 BBL of liquid mud, 14,350 cu. ft. of bulk mud, 1,700 BBL of methanol and 17,191 gallons of potable water.
The highly technical wheelhouse features the latest technology in Navigation and Communication equipment. Vessel is ABS classed, hull and machinery, Enviro+ and FiFi 1.
