All DMT Anchor handling winches are made to very specific customer requirements. Years of experience combined with best-proven practices directly from the work field result in rigid products on which tug boat crews can rely. Anchor handling duties are often fulfilled under extremely heavy conditions, therefore equipment reliability and optimal outfitting for the task are of most importance.

Our sales representatives cooperate closely with fleet operators and visit vessels on site to determine the best possible solution for a specific scope of work. Our engineers can design our winches on existing foundations on board, or integrate our equipment in the digital drawings from naval design bureaus. We are capable to deliver every imaginable layout, whether in conventional configuration (multiple drums on one shaft) or as “waterfall” type (multiple drums, multiple shafts). Hauling speeds, pulling force, wire capacity and winding direction as desired by the client. Controls can be pneumatic or hydraulic and measurement systems for cable length and force on the wire can be integrated in the existing systems on board.
