The 12D (D for Durolite) hull is based on the regular 12, making the 12D one of the most seaworthy 12ft aluminum boats around. At just 153 lbs, the 12D is easy to carry on top of your car or in the back of your pickup. This is a good boat for lake fishing, rowing, beach use, etc..... The 12D now is standard in bare aluminum.
